Terms of Service
Last updated September 22, 2026. These terms govern your use of Rovli, a product of Velora Biotech.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Rovli, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree to them, don’t use Rovli.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract to use Rovli, and must comply with all applicable laws when doing so. If you use Rovli on behalf of an organization, you’re confirming you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
3. The service
Rovli is a browser-based photo editor: background removal, mask editing, adjustments, and export. Most of the editor works without an account. Creating an account adds optional cloud features, such as saving a project to continue editing it on another device.
4. Your account
You’re responsible for maintaining access to your account and for any activity under it. Tell us if you become aware of unauthorized use.
5. Local processing
When you use Rovli without saving a project to the cloud, your photos are processed entirely in your browser and are not transmitted to Rovli’s servers. See the Privacy page for the technical detail behind this.
6. Optional cloud storage
If you sign in and choose to save a project to the cloud, Rovli stores what’s needed to continue editing it — the photo, masks, project settings, and a thumbnail — using Supabase-managed infrastructure. You can delete a saved project at any time.
7. Your content
You retain all ownership rights to the photos and content you edit with Rovli. We claim no ownership over your content and no license to it beyond what’s strictly needed to provide the service you’ve requested (for example, storing a project you’ve chosen to save).
8. Acceptable use
Don’t use Rovli to process content you don’t have the right to use, to violate any law, to interfere with the service’s operation, or to attempt to access accounts or data that aren’t yours.
9. Intellectual property
Rovli’s software, design, and branding are owned by Velora Biotech and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These terms don’t grant you rights to Rovli’s branding, source code, or underlying technology beyond ordinary use of the hosted product.
10. Service availability
Rovli is provided on an as-available basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Rovli Pro subscriptions
Rovli Pro is a planned paid subscription at $9.99/month, giving access to Pro-only features on top of everything in the free tier (see the pricing page for what’s included). Rovli Pro is not available to purchase yet — no billing integration exists, and these terms describe how it will work once it launches, not a live offer today.
Once available, a Rovli Pro subscription will renew automatically each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. We’ll give you clear notice, in advance, of any price change to an active subscription — a change never applies retroactively to a period you’ve already paid for.
12. Cancellation
You’ll be able to cancel a Rovli Pro subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewal; you keep Pro access through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for, and your account reverts to the free plan after that — no cloud-saved projects or data are deleted for downgrading.
13. Refunds
Rovli does not have a published refund policy yet, because Rovli Pro is not available to purchase yet. This section will be completed with a concrete policy before billing launches — until then, this is not a commitment to refund, or not to refund, any future charge, and nothing here should be read either way.
14. Failed payments and taxes
If a Pro subscription payment fails, we’ll attempt to notify you and may retry the charge before suspending Pro access. Where required by law, applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar will be calculated and added to your subscription price at checkout — Rovli doesn’t absorb tax obligations on your behalf.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
Rovli is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velora Biotech won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Rovli.
17. Termination
You may stop using Rovli, or delete your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service for conduct that violates these terms.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. We’ll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continued use of Rovli after a change means you accept the updated terms.
19. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to rovlisupport@gmail.com or through the contact page.
